WHO WE ARE

We are a local group working to ensure that Women's Rights under the Equality Act 2010 (the Act) are upheld.

Our objectives:

  • to promote and protect the sex-based rights of women and girls;

  • to preserve the privacy and dignity of women and girls and our right to single-sex spaces and services;

  • to represent the voice and views of women and girls;

  • to challenge attempts to redefine ‘woman’ away from biological sex to gender identity;

  • to raise awareness of these issues and the implications for women and girls, including for safeguarding;

  • to hold our councils and service providers – both public and private sector – to account.

We have no religious or political affiliations.
